We congratulate our colleagues Martin Bensch and Tim-David Job on the approved funding for the project "Development of a range-enhanced snake robot for engine endoscopy" by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture. In the project, the algorithmic basis for range-enhanced snake robots for engine endoscopy is to be established together with MTU Aero Engines. This includes contact estimation within the engine, targeted stiffening and inspection planning. We wish all those involved in the project every success!
