The IMES is pleased to announce that Jorge Badilla Solórzano has been awarded the DAAD Prize for International Students and Doctoral Candidates 2024 for his dedication to his home country, Costa Rica and the University of Costa Rica as an external doctoral candidate at Leibniz University Hannover.
This prize, awarded annually by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), recognizes international students or doctoral candidates at German universities who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and remarkable social or intercultural engagement.
The official award ceremony will take place on December 10th at 6:30 PM at the Leibnizhaus. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jorge Badilla Solórzano on this well-deserved recognition!
