A robot for borescope inspections

Inspecting without disassembly: In the future, a flexible miniature robot will make it possible to use a borescope even in areas of an engine that were previously difficult to access.

In cooperation with MTU, a robot-assisted borescope, known as RoBokop for short, is being developed at imes. MTU recently published an article on the project in its aviation magazine Aeroreport: https://aeroreport.de/en/innovation/a-robot-for-borescope-inspections
